Covered storage space for aircraft at Shreveport’s Downtown Airport is in brief supply, but the approaching relocation of some weather statement gear is likely to open room for far more hangars.
Interim air-port manager Stacy Kuba informs ‘The Times’ the need for hangars at Downtown Airport is testimony to the facility’s good results. The area’s casinos and its oil and all-natural gas business carry on to make Downtown Airport eye-catching to common aviation pilots. It is home base to further more than 300 planes, generally small, corporate or private aircraft. However, there are nothing but 175 hangars, 4 of which were constructed in the recent several years. Kuba claims there are 50 clients on a waiting list seeking to base their planes in the hangars.
